Real Estate Photography
First Impressions Make a Difference
Your Best Shot photo and video is a Winnipeg real estate photography and video business that provides great real estate photos and videos for Winnipeg real estate agents and brokers. Photos are the first thing a client sees, and one of the best ways to build TRUST. Professional real estate photography requires the real estate photographer to be diligent in taking care of details. The best real estate photographers have an eye for esthetics and design. They are part decorator, part handyman and know how different angles can enhance or hide details which improves the final real estate photos.
Home Exteriors
When a buyer is looking for a new home they narrow their real estate buying choices based on photos, and the first photo is the exterior. For medium and higher priced homes, I suggest that the realtor consider twilight real estate shoots in addition to daytime as it enhances the appeal of the home and sets it apart from other possible choices. At the very least sunny exterior shots just look better than ones taken on a cloudy day.
Great Rooms
The best real estate photos reflect the time spent creating stunning great room photos. This is usually the second area seen by buyers as they view the home in person. Your Best Shot makes sure to spend the time to capture the great room from each corner and wall if possible. This ensures the viewer sees the entire layout of the home especially in open concept living areas of the home.
Kitchens
Real estate photos of kitchens can be arguably the most important area of a home. Great real estate photography shows the layout, storage, appliances, and counter space and can be the determining factor in whether the buyer choose to first view, then buy the home.
Bedrooms
Bedrooms creates the mood more than any other area of the home. For that reason I prefer to shoot with the lights on which is usually warmer (more yellow) than light shining through windows. I also like to keep the main door and ensuite door open so the viewer sees other areas in relation to the main or principal bedroom.
Bathrooms
Bathrooms present the biggest challenges as sometimes the area is small and everything (including the photographer) is reflected back to the camera. This usually requires additional work in photoshop. At times creativity is required, but there is always a way to show the room at its best.
Fabulous Entrances
Some homes take your breath away as soon as you enter.
Multi-Room
As a real estate photographer that is always improving,, one of the best ways I’ve found is to expand my thinking to shoot from different angles and one of my preferred ways to shoot is to try to show multiple rooms in one photo. Not only does it give the potential buyer a better idea of the layout, it also is more appealing than simple shots of each room.
Miscellaneous
A collection of shots showing different views or areas not generally included as part of a real estate photographer’s work.
